MOM's purpose is to protect and restore the Environment.
To reduce our carbon footprint, MOM's began purchasing wind power in 2005. Company wide, MOM's bought a total of 1.5 million kilowatt hours of wind power in 2006. This is the energy equivalent to powering 150 average American homes for one year. The positive environmental impact of this purchase can be compared to planting 122,486 trees. In 2008, MOM's continues to uphold our commitment to the environment through the use of 100% wind power, recycling, and environmental initiatives in our stores.
