Enroll Your Child for Free Books

Dolly Parton along with Governor Phil Bredsen offers a unique reading programs to kids in the state of Tennessee called Books from Birth and Imagination Library. The program offers free books to every child from birth until 5 years old. Parents have to enroll their child in the program through an online registration progress. Once the forms are submitted, your child will begin receiving a monthly mailer that contains one age appropriate hardcover book at no cost to the family, regardless of income level. Your child should receive their first book within 3 months of submitting the online registration form. All of my children are enrolled and it is so much fun for them to go to the mailbox and get a package with a new book in it. It is a wonderful way to encourage reading and start building a children’s library in your home. It is easy sign up and does not take long.

I have been very pleased with the books and the process at which the books are selected for each age group. The books are very nice and well illustrated so it keeps my children’s attention. Click on the link below to get started on the registration form. You can also take a look around the website and find out more on how the program works and how the books are selected for each age group.
