Question of the Week for 4/14/2008

This week's question is about children and their chores.

What age did your children start doing chores? How did you implement more chores as they got older? Do they get paid for their chores? If so, how much do they get paid?

My oldest son, Logan, has small chores around the house. He is almost five now. He helps with laundry, picking his room up, helping make beds, and clearing the table. These are not big jobs but it does teach him responsibility which I think is important. He does not get paid yet but I am sure I will implement that as he gets older. I am always curious about what works for other families and how they implement things of this nature in their homes. I am excited to learn what works for other families and how they handle chores.
