New Library

Civic causes come and go with the times, but opportunities for a community and its people to truly embrace a legacy project are rare. Such an opportunity exists with the creation of a first class library in Hendersonville. The Friends of the Arts and Literature in Sumner (FOALS) was founded in 2002 by concerned citizens interested in furthering libraries and the arts in Sumner County. These visionaries saw an opportunity to create an enduring legacy for the Community. They envisioned a new library in spacious surroundings with up to date facilities to serve a growing population into the future.
