This Holiday Season please join us for Nashville's premier holiday event, the Nashville Gas Christmas Parade, brought to you by Southeast Financial Federal Credit Union. Our theme is "Holiday Showcase." This year's Grand Marshall is Country Music Artist, Steve Warniner.
Nashville Gas and our employees are proud to continue our long-standing tradition in the Nashville Community with the 55th Annual Nashville Gas Christmas Parade. We will showcase Nashville's rich history of musical entertainment with floats rolling down Broadway, holiday lights illuminating the night sky, bands immersing our streets and all the magical sounds of the holiday season.
Join us - along with our friends and families as we soak up the many sights and sounds of the Holiday Season on Friday night, December 7th at 7:00 p.m. The Nashville Gas Christmas Parade will kick off at 7th and Broadway, march east to 2nd Avenue and then across the Woodland Street Bridge to the LP Field.
We are excited to share this 55th Holiday Showcase with you - while sipping hot chocolate, and snuggling under warm blankets, to feeling the excitement in the air as bands echo in the night and floats illuminate the streets of downtown Nashville. We take this opportunity to wish Nashville a happy holiday season and hope you will join us for our 55th Annual Nashville Gas Christmas Parade.
We are looking for spectacular floats and very creative elements to march down Broadway in the Nashville Gas Christmas Parade! Remember to be imaginative. All floats entered must be fully lighted with music and /or motion. Only a limited number of entries will be selected due to the high volume of interest and time constraints of an evening parade. The most artistic and inventive applicants will be chosen. Entries are due by October 26, 2007. Entrants will be notified by November 5th. Have fun planning your entry and remember to return your application by October 26th.
For Applications and questions please contact:Pam Thomas, Nashville Gas Parade Chair, on the parade hotline at (615) 734-1708.
